I also requested the donor catalog for our specimen. I think we’ve decided on Midwest Sperm Bank because they are much less expensive than most other places for a vial as well as shipping. I’m not looking to choose based on price alone, but I honestly don’t need all the other things that the more expensive banks offer (video, willing to meet the child, etc). The less it costs, the more times I can try – even though I’m certain it will happen the first time :). When the difference is $200-$500/month, who could choose without looking at the cost?

OK – in the middle of writing this, I get an email saying that 126 is no longer available…..UGH. The next option that is available is 009….

Back to attempting to actually work – This is really beginning to consume me!
Just read this I used 126 in 06 1 try was a success and had a beautiful blue eyed boy 9 months later but wished I stock piled his sperm cause 2 years later I find out he is no longer available
I have a little girl from donor 126. She doesn’t understand the donor daddy thing yet because she’s only 7.
We’re considering using donor 009. Did you have any luck with it?
Unfortunately I was never successful
